Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Thurston Howell is a sweet, 3 month old GSD mix who was transferred from an organization that pulls dogs from shelters where their time is about to expire. Potential adopters need to look beyond his cute, puppy face and recognize that there will be a LOT of work involved including house training, chewing, basic obedience training, socialization, etc, etc. We do not know what he is mixed with, but our guess is that he may end up being a big boy when he's done growing. 

Although we do our best to keep our adoptable animals page as current as possible,the animals you see may already be in an adoption process.
