Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Jolie is a sweet, pretty one year old GSD who was transferred to FRGSR from another rescue who pulled several dogs from a situation where they were unable to be cared for properly. Due to her poor care, she is much smaller than most typical female GSDs who are her age. Jolie is looking for a home where she can receive the proper care that all dogs deserve.  She has  some significant fear issues - traffic, loud noises, etc, etc. Long term patience and confident leadership, not pity, will be key in helping this girl to leave the past behind. This beautiful girl deserves nothing less. She would likely do best in a fairly quiet home with a confident canine companion who will help build her confidence.
