When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Hi, I am Damaryius (also lovingly known as Delirious to my foster family due to my hilarious antics). I am a 3 yr old, neutered GSD who was transferred to FRGSR from a kill shelter where my time was about to expire. I've been with my foster family for about a month now and they have another GSD with whom I love to play and run. Somewhere in my past, I have had surgery on my back hip but my current veterinarians aren't sure why. I've been to an orthopedic specialist who said that I can tolerate moderate exercise. I can run fast on short treks but not for long periods of time. My foster mom and dad had a visit from their grandkids and I fell in love - probably because they like to run and play like me! I am extremely gentle with big and small humans. I did have a little issue with a small dog, so a home with larger dogs would be best. I've heard about these things called cats, but I've not met one yet, so I'm not sure what I'd think.  I'd love to find a new forever family possibly with kids and if not, I'd at least like a canine companion to keep me company while my owners are gone.
