Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Lady Jo found herself in the shelter in Texas because  her owners were moving. They say she gets along with kids and other dogs. Some nice people brought her to Colorado to find a good home, and we took her. So far with us, she has been a sweet, easy going girl. Rode well in the car. She is 4 yrs old. She is currently living in a foster home with another GSD, a GSP and a Boston Terrier and she does fine with all of them. She will often nudge her foster mom's elbow so she'll pet her and she loves a good belly rub!
