Tessla is a beautiful one year old GSD who was transferred to FRGSR after being found by Animal Control after she was hit by a car. She was taken to the ER and received treatment for an injury to her back right ankle. FRGSR has taken her to an orthopedic surgeon who felt that it was best to splint her leg for six weeks to keep it stable while it was healing. The splint was removed on 10/10/14 and now she's building up the strength in her ankle again. She's been having loads of fun running and playing with her foster canine siblings.  She is a happy, energetic girl who is also very affectionate. Tessla does seem to be a bit overwhelmed by the high pitched sounds and fast movements of young children, so  home with older kids would likely be best.
