Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Zepplynne is a sweet senior girl who was abandoned by her former owner at a vet clinic.  She is shy at first, until she warms up to you.  Once she gets to know you – she tentatively comes for affection, and cuddles.  She is very well mannered, loves her treats – and any food in general.  She takes treats gently – but always wants more!   Zepplyne has just undergone surgery to remove some fatty tumors, but otherwise she is healthy.  She has lost partial sight in one eye – but that just makes her all the more endearing – especially when she tries to focus on something.. she wrinkles her nose, and her little grey whiskers make her look like a possum!

She loves soft beds, laying in the sunshine, short walks, and drives in the car.

Thunderstorms scare her – so she sticks pretty close when it is storming outside.

She gets along well with other dogs – big and small - although she does not like them getting in her face.  Some benefits and respect should come with age!
