Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Nora. Born Dec 2006. Nora is a small energetic GS mix. She was a present to a family that had no way to care for her. She is good with other dogs and some cats. Would be a great jogging companion or companion for another dog. She is crate trained. She will need obedience training ASAP. She is very responsive to treats, and just needs someone to work with her. She was raised with kids, but she is not really gentle yet. Keep in mind when filling out an application that the dog you choose may already have an application pending on him/her. We get multiple requests for some dogs. Please don't let that stop you from submitting an application. Once we read it, we may have a dog that suits your needs better, or one may be coming along in the near future. Some dogs never make it to the webpage because we have the right home waiting. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to placement. An adoption application and contract are required.
