Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Lady is a young mix. She is small, about 45 pounds, very energetic. She would do well in an active home. She barks when first meeting other dogs, but she seems to want to play as long as the other dog is friendly. She almost looks like she is smiling!Lady knows sit and shake hands. She is learning to stand on her hind feet. She needs to learn how to walk on a leash. She has not bothered the cats. She can climb a chain link fence. Keep in mind when filling out an application that the dog you choose may already have an application pending on him/her. We get multiple requests for some dogs. Please don't let that stop you from submitting an application. Once we read it, we may have a dog that suits your needs better, or one may be coming along in the near future. Some dogs never make it to the webpage because we have the right home waiting. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to placement. An adoption application and contract are required.
