Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Annie is one of the most beautiful wonderful energetic happy friendly 1 yr old female you ever saw. She loves people and will give kisses. She helped me mow a little today. She seems friendly with the male dogs here, but she barks at first if she is one a leash. So far she is housebroken, and has some obedience. She is so full of energy that when we are heading out the door, she jumps on it because I am too slow for her. She needs a home with experienced, energetic German Shepherd people with NO CATS! She is VERY RESPONSIVE. She will need daily exercise. She will put your hand in her mouth, and she will jump on you with happiness. She is very affectionate. She is sleeping at my feet, but when i move, she is ready to go. She also swiped some food off my counter when there was dog food sitting in the dish, so either I dont have a food she likes, or she prefers people food, and will help herself. She definately will need some consistant training, but I think you will have a wonderful dog when she is totally trained. Keep in mind when filling out an application that the dog you choose may already have an application pending on him/her. We get multiple requests for some dogs. Please don't let that stop you from submitting an application. Once we read it, we may have a dog that suits your needs better, or one may be coming along in the near future. Some dogs never make it to the webpage because we have the right home waiting. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to placement. An adoption application and contract are required.
