Hi, I'm (Octonauts) Dashi, and I'm an adorable female GSD puppy with an estimated DOB of 1/30/25, who was transferred to FRGSR after being pulled, along with my littermates, from a setting where we weren't receiving proper care. It was reported that we were eating trash, because no food or water was present. I hit the jackpot by coming to CO, because my foster mom is taking excellent care of me! I'm getting regular meals and I have a soft bed to sleep on My foster mom says I'm timid, nervous and a little reactive, likely because I'm overwhelmed with everything being new. I'm very alert and I'm learning to follow simple commands, such as "This way, no, off, and sit". I walked pretty good on leash today - something else I've never done. I take comfort in being in a crate. It's like my little safe place. I sleep through the night with no accidents, but I'm still not fully house trained during the day yet.

I'll need a calm, confident adopter who won't baby me. I can be clingy with my foster mom, and she's trying to teach me that I don't need to jump on her when I get nervous or scared. My foster mom is super outdoorsy, so please stay tuned for more updates as we explore the outdoors.
