Hi, my name is Jira, and I'm a beautiful female GSD with an estimated DOB of 12/9/23 who was transferred from a shelter where I was surrendered because my former owner was allergic to me. Shelter reports note that I got along well with the other two GSDs in the house as well as the kids. I like to play ball, but I can be fickle about bringing it back. I did live outside in my former home, so I'm not yet fully housetrained. I'm currently staying in a boarding kennel because all foster spots are full. The shelter reports say that I need leash work, so I'm beginning to learn how to walk appropriately beside my handler. I can be reserved when I first meet people, but I do warm up quickly. I'd love to find a home with someone who will provide me with some outdoor adventures and continue with my training.
