Hi, my name is Patrick, and I'm a handsome GSD with an estimated DOB of 8/8/19 who was transferred from a shelter where I arrived as a stray and nobody came to claim me. I was placed on the euthanasia list, but thankfully, FRGSR agreed to save me! The folks at the kennel described me as a staff favorite and such a good boy! I was calm and quiet in my kennel prior to transport. I'm treat-motivated and I'll take them gently from your hand. I just love being near people as they pet me and give me lots of attention. While at the kennel, I did great with other dogs too! Many people skip over dogs in my age range because they say I'm "too old", but I have a lot of love and loyalty left to offer my next special person. Lastly, I did arrive being low-heartworm positive and I am currently undergoing treatment. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application.
