Hi, my name is Alamo Momma Angie, and I'm a gorgeous GSD with an estimated DOB of 2/7/23 who was transferred, along with my eight puppies, from a shelter where we arrived after being found alone and hungry, and nobody came to claim us. I was underweight trying to scrounge for food so that I could nurse my puppies. The shelter clock was running out, but thankfully, FRGSR saved all of us! My puppies were old enough to be adopted out, and they've all found homes. The shelter discovered that I tested positive for heartworm, and I've completed my treatment in October. I'm a happy, playful and affectionate girl who loves to spend time with my parents who take me on daily walks, which I LOVE! I've been living in a foster home with other dogs, two large and one small, and I've learned how to play with them as long as they aren't too overbearing. I typically start a play session with a bow and when the other dog engages, I'll roll onto my back to go belly up! I'm house-trained and someone from my past taught me to sit and shake. I would love to find an adopter who isn't gone for long stretches of time and will take me on daily walks and hikes. I would LOVE to have a male canine companion to keep me company when my owner is not home. I'm a wonderful girl who's been waiting for my forever family to come along, and I hope that will happen soon! If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application.
