Hi, my name is Rosebud Rudy, and I'm an adorable GSD puppy who was transferred from a shelter, along with my littermates after we were found as strays and then taken to a shelter. Sadly, the staff thinks maybe our mom was hit by a car, because she was nowhere to be found. Without the help of the person who found us, we likely wouldn't have survived. However, once we reached the shelter, the space was really tight and again, our lives were about to be cut short, but thankfully, FRGSR agreed to take us all even though foster space is extremely tight, because they thought we deserved to live out our lives in loving homes. Like all puppies, I'll need an adopter who will be able to look beyond my cute puppy face and commit to training and socializing me so that I'll grow up to be a well-balanced adult dog. Rudy is a bit slower to come out of his shell, but once he does, you'll find that he is energetic, curious, very confident and very food motivated. He is learning kennel manners, working on house training and basic commands. Rudy is a bit more energetic than his littermate (Rio) and he benefits from more mental stimulation and enrichment toys. Overall, he is a very sweet boy. He has shown positive behaviors with other dogs (large and small), kids and both men and women. Rudy would do well with an older dog to learn from or independently with a combination of routine and structure.
