Hi, my name is Rosebud Ranger, and I'm an adorable GSD puppy who was transferred from a shelter, along with my littermates, after we were found as strays and then taken to a shelter. Sadly, the staff thinks maybe our mom was hit by a car, because she was nowhere to be found. Without the help of the person who found us, we likely wouldn't have survived. Then, once we reached the shelter, the space was really tight and again, our lives were about to be cut short, but thankfully, FRGSR agreed to take us all! Even though foster space is extremely tight, they thought we deserved to live out our lives in loving homes. Like all puppies, I'll need an adopter who will be able to look beyond my cute puppy face and commit to training and socializing me so that I'll grow up to be a well-balanced adult dog. I'm currently living in a foster home with three other dogs (1sm and 2 lg) and I'm doing great! I alternate between play sessions followed by naps - just like a toddler. I don't like being crated, but I'm learning that it's a necessary place for me to be when my foster parents aren't home. I'm extremely food motivated and eager to learn new things. My foster parents take me for a nice walk every day and once we get going, I get into a rhythm and I stop trying to play with my brother on leash. I do love to cuddle up next to my smaller brother or my mom for a nap afterwards. I'm making nice progress with house training and I'll go to the door if I need to go out.
