Hi, my name is Referral Dakota, and I'm being cross-posted for another rescue named Colorado Animal Rescue. I'm a happy, playful five year old GSD mix who was surrendered by my former owner who could no longer care for me due to health issues, and I keep getting passed by at the shelter. I absolutely LOVE to play with other dogs, both large and small, and the rescue refers to me as their playgroup all-star! I also enjoy playing fetch and going for long walks. I tend to be a bit bashful when I first meet people, but I quickly warm up! I'll be a great side-kick and steady companion for someone who's willing to consider an adult dog.
