Hi, my name is Gigi, and I'm a beautiful three year old Dutch Shepherd who was transferred from a shelter, along with my six Dutch Shepherd mix puppies, due to space issues. Prior to arriving, I did have a chance to live in a foster home for a short time and my former foster mom describes me as a sweet, gentle girl who is timid at first, but I do warm up quickly. I am house trained and I love the company of people and other dogs. I walk beautifully on a loose leash and I love riding in the car. I love to play fetch with either a ball or a frisbee. I'm not a big fan of being crated, but I was not destructive when left loose. I quickly learned how to use the dog door. Since coming to FRGSR, my new foster mom has seen all of the same with an extra bonus that I don't bother the cats. I am looking for a family who has a dog for whom they'd like a canine companion. I'll also need someone who will commit to being a leader for me while providing me with a good dose of daily exercise.
