Hi, my name is Devika, and I'm a beautiful eight month old, female Belgian Malinois or land shark, a nickname many give my breed. I'm looking for a home with AN EXPERIENCED MALINOIS owner. My foster, who is Malinois experienced, describes me as a dog that loves other dogs, but I can be a bit pushy. I'm possessive of my food around other dogs, not people, which we are working on. I like to get in the water bowl and splash around. I'm potty trained and I've had zero accidents in the house. I'm very social with people but I like to express myself with my teeth and we're working on that too. Hey, I'm a puppy and I'm still learning. I have a high prey drive and I'll chase anything small that moves.  As you might guess, I'm a very smart girl who wants to please. The rescue is looking for a calm, confident MALINOIS EXPERIENCED adopter who will continue to work on my training and socialization so that I'll grow up to be a well balanced adult dog.  I would do best with a confident canine companion whose behavior I can mirror. Update: I was recently adopted and returned because I was too much for my former owners to handle. My former foster mom says I'm a typical Malinois puppy who needs guidance and leadership combined with exercise. I'm currently living with a dog trainer who is continuing to provide me with leadership and boundaries. This trainer will offer two complimentary dog training sessions to a Malinois experienced adopter who's willing to commit the time and energy into meeting my needs. My adoption fee is $450.
