Hi, my name is Oracle, and I'm a beautiful one year old female GSD who was transferred to FRGSR from a shelter that was tight on space. I'm settling in at a foster home that I share with some other dogs and I'm doing great!  I'm housetrained, I know some basic commands, and I don't need to be in charge of the other dogs. I'm very friendly when I meet new people. I enjoy playing with a ball or other toys. I do like to counter surf and my mom and dad are working with me to correct this. They are teaching me "no jump" and "leave it". I have a sweet personality and I'm hoping to find my forever home soon. As with all puppies, my adopter will need to commit to continue with my training as I grow into an adult dog. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application. My adoption fee is $400.  Update: I was adopted and returned because I turned out to be too much dog for my former owners to handle. I'm currently living with a dog trainer/foster who describes me as sweet and sensitive, but I need firm boundaries from a strong leader. I don't need a heavy hand, but rather praise when I act appropriately and clear correction/redirection when I try to test boundaries, which I will if allowed. If possible, I'd love to have a large canine companion who is not toy or food possessive. While in training, I've learned sit/stay, down/stay, my recall is very good, I have good loose leash walking skills and I almost have "heel" mastered. I would do best with someone who isn't gone for long periods of time.
