Hi, my name is Hobo, and I'm a really handsome 1.5yr old male GSD who was surrendered to FRGSR by my former owner when he moved and his landlord said I had to go. My former owner reported that I need to be trained. I was not properly socialized with other dogs in my prior home, so the rescue volunteers are taking things slowly with me. I attended my first meet and greet event in July and my handler said that I was unsure of things at the start of the event, but I followed his leadership and guidance and I settled into a rhythm. I would do best with a GSD experienced handler who can continue with my training and socialization. I'm presently living in a boarding kennel because all foster slots are full, but I  hope to find a forever home soon. If you are interested, please submit an online application at adoptagsd.org.
