Hi, my name is I'm Your Venus, or Venus for short, and I'm a beautiful one year old GSD who was transferred from a shelter that was tight on space. The euthanasia clock was ticking, but thankfully, FRGSR saved me! I'm currently living in a foster home without other dogs, so my foster mom has had to find ways to meet my exercise needs by taking me to the dog park or going on lots of outdoor adventures. I'm working on my house training and crate training, and my foster mom thinks I would do best with someone who isn't gone for extended periods of time.  When I see other dogs, I typically get barky, but it's just my way of saying, Hey, do you want to play with me?!? I do need leash work. I would love to find an adopter who has a male dog who would love a play buddy. I'll also need someone who can provide me with a good dose of daily exercise while working on my leash walking and basic obedience.
