Hi, my name is Xena and I’m a gorgeous 6 month old GSD who was surrendered to FRGSR by my former owner because they no longer had the ability to meet my needs. I’ve loved playing with the other dogs I’m with, and do best with the older male dogs who can hold their own because I can be a bit pushy when I’m playing. I am house trained and we are working daily on basic commands, leash skills and impulse control. I have lots of energy and will need an owner committed to working with me daily getting physical and mental stimulation. I love fetch and tug. I’m very affectionate and love to hold my toys while you pet me. I've had a bath and I'm ready for my new home. My adoption fee is $500. Update: My foster mom is a dog trainer who has worked with many, many dogs, and she feels that I would be best suited as a working dog rather than just being a family pet.
