Hi, my name is Ripley, and I'm a handsome three year old GSD, who was reluctantly surrendered by my former family when one of my canine brothers and I started fighting with each other in recent weeks. (I did get along fine with a third dog in my home.) Things weren't getting better, so my family asked FRGSR if they could take me and find me a new home. I attended a meet and greet event and I loved meeting the other dogs and the guests who visited. I liked to lean into people so they'd bend down and pet me. I'm a good boy who would love to find a home with someone who'd provide me with lots of exercise such as hiking, etc. I'm house trained and I could use a refresher course on basic obedience and proper leash walking. My adoption fee is $350. Update: I was recently adopted out and returned because the rescue feels that my owners didn't provide me with proper leadership or exercise. My foster parents are setting clear boundaries for me and they're providing me with a good dose of daily exercise. I'm hoping to find a new home with someone who can provide me with TRUE GSD leadership and daily exercise consisting of more than neighborhood walks. Update: My foster parents have been taking me on long, daily walks while reinforcing my training. I now know "sit, down, shake and heel". My favorite friend on our walks is a six year old little girl who I visit almost every day and I'm in LOVE!
