Hi, my name is Tom, and I'm a handsome approximately two year old dog who was transferred from a shelter where my former owner abandoned me.  I was fortunate to be able to spend three weeks in foster care before being transferred and my former foster mom described me as a really friendly and affectionate boy who may have been an only dog. I used to bark through the fence at other dogs. I am house trained, crate trained and I know some basic commands. I do love to chase little furry creatures, so potential adopters with cats may have lots of work ahead. Since arriving at FRGSR, the volunteers have found that I can go for walks with other dogs and do just fine as long as they leave me alone. If they get too close, I get nervous and sometimes I'll snap at them. I'm not an aggressive dog but rather a "Be and let be" type of dog. With my humans, I'm very affectionate and I love to give kisses, so if you offer me your cheek, I'll plant a big smooch on it! When I go for walks, I don't pull, but I do LOVE to stop and roll in the snow several times when I'm out. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org. My adoption fee is $350.
