Hi, my name is Fairbanks and I'm a really handsome two year old male GSD that was transferred from a shelter where i arrived as as a stray. I'm a big boy who's got a black and red coat and striking amber eyes. I'm currently residing in a boarding kennel and they take great care of me, but I long for a home of my own. I love getting out for play sessions and I really love chasing a ball. I'll even drop it if my handler has a second one ready to launch. I love people and I've don't well on leash around other dogs, but I may do best as an only dog in my furever home. The volunteers have noticed that i tend to focus on my shadow and I do react to reflections of light, which, the rescue assumes, is because I may have been teased with a laser light in my past. Having someone who understands how to redirect me during these moments would be important for me. If you are interested, please submjit an onlline application at adoptagsd.org.
