Hi, get your tissues ready. My name is Crixus, and I'm a very sweet 12 year old GSD whose former owner moved away and left me behind. Thankfully, my owner's roommate cared enough about my welfare to ask FRGSR for help in finding me a new home, because he's moving too. He reported that I love three things - laying in the grass, going for walks and cuddling. I get along with people (adults and kids), other dogs and cats. In my earlier years, I hurt my shoulder and as a result, I do limp a little, but I was still able to go for 3-4 mile walks once a week. On the other days, I went on shorter walks. I'm currently living in a foster home with another dog and several cats and I'm doing great! I'm hoping there will be a kind soul out there who will adopt me and give me lots of love for the rest of my life. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application.
