When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Hi, my name is Galileo, and I'm a gorgeous long haired GSD who was found running the streets in Mexico, and I was one of the lucky ones to be picked up by a rescue and then transferred to FRGSR. I've been seen by two vets who have differing opinions of my age, so the rescue is guessing that I'm about a year old. I'm a friendly, smaller GSD who has a skin condition and I'm receiving treatment for this. Because I was found as a "street dog", the rescue has no information on my house manners. I do really enjoy being around people and other dogs. I'll need an adopter who will teach me basic obedience and work on my house manners. No info on kids or cats. I'm now in foster are and I'm doing well.  If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application. My adoption fee is $350. Update: Though I've been through a LOT medically in the last few months,  I've always been a happy, friendly boy. I'm getting much better and I'm now ready to find my forever home. A veterinarian diagnosed me with a fungal infection and I will need to stay on medication for approximately the next 8-9 months. Specific details about my journey will be shared with potential adopters who may be a suitable fit for me. Finally my future is looking very bright!
