Hi, my name is Major and I'm a beautiful one year old female GSD who was surrendered to FRGSR by my former owner, because I was not comfortable around his grandkids or other visitors to his home. I have been working with a GSD experienced trainer and I'm making nice progress. I will need to be an only dog in my next home and I'll need a GSD experienced handler who will demonstrate calm, confident leadership for me and provide me with daily exercise. My former owner described me as playful but protective. I know some basic commands (sit, lie down, shake and heel). I enjoy playing ball, but sometimes I'm reluctant to give it back, so my owner "bribed" me with a second ball, which works great!
