Hi, my name is Nikon, and I'm a super cute 7 month old GSD mix who was transferred from a shelter where I arrived as a stray. The shelter was a really scary place for me, so the staff asked FRGSR if they could help me to find my forever home. I arrived about a month ago and I was placed in a foster home where my foster mom patiently allowed me to come out of my shell on my timeline. She observed that the other resident dogs were a great source of comfort to me, and she's hoping to find an adopter with a calm, confident canine who can help to build my confidence. I need time to warm up, and I would likely do best in a home that's on the quieter side. I'm on the smaller side for a male dog, but that just means I'll always be cute!
