Hi, my name is Pepper, and I'm a beautiful, all black girl who was surrendered to a shelter when my former owners were forced to move in with family, and as a result, I got to spend my seventh birthday looking through the bars of a kennel. My former family had me since I was a puppy, so as you might guess, my world has been turned upside down. Upon arriving in CO, the volunteers immediately noticed that I had to say hi to every single person I met. I'm now settling into a foster home that I share with two adults and two other dogs and I'm doing great! Many people may pass me by due to my age, but I hope there's a special someone/family out there who would open their home and heart(s) to a sweet girl like me. I'm housetrained, crate trained and I know some basic commands. I do need to lose a few pounds, but I'd be really happy to join you on a daily walk if you would like a buddy!
