Hi, my name is Adele, and I'm a pretty, one year old GSD who was transferred from a shelter that was tight on space and the clock was running out. The shelter reported that I'm a happy, friendly girl who seems to be good with adults and dogs. No info on younger kids and cats. Many folks may pass me by because I don't have erect ears, but I've hopefully made up for this with my sweet personality! Since arriving at FRGSR, the volunteers have noticed that I need some work on obedience, manners and leash walking. When I first get started on a walk, I tend to jump on my handler, then we get going and I try to stay close enough that sometimes I get right under my handler's feet. With repetition, I'll figure things out though. I do enjoy getting out for nice, long walks where I'm ready and willing to try to pounce on anything that moves in the nearby fields. I will need an adopter who's willing to provide me with ongoing traning and exercise so that I'll grow up to be a well balanced adult dog. More info to come.
