Hi, my name is Casper and I'm a handsome, two year old GSD who was transferred to FRGSR when my former owner was injured and could no longer care for me. A neighbor had been feeding me for almost a month before help arrived, and now I'm soaking up all the attention I can get. I am definitely more comfortable with women than men at this point, but the male volunteers are helping me to learn that men aren't as scary as I think they are. The volunteers are teaching me some basic obedience. I'm not a fan of being put in a crate, but once I'm in there, I'm fine. I'm not a dog who can be left unattended in the back yard, because I will dig out of boredom. No info yet on how I'll do with dogs, kids or cats. I will need an adopter who will commit to continued work on my obedience and will provide me with exercise and attention. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org. My adoption fee is $350.
