Hi, my name is Dalton and I'm a handsome, yet shy, one year old GSD who is a newbie with FRGSR after being transferred from a shelter.  I arrived there in a transport van full of dogs needing a second chance at life. I was really scared and the shelter staff was hoping FRGSR could help me. I'm now living in a foster home with one large and one small dog and I'm doing much better. I like other dogs, and I'm learning how to play with them. With people, I tend to warm up on my own terms. With dogs like me, the last thing we need is for people to baby us and feel sorry for us. We need a confident handler which, in turn, builds our confidence. More info to come. I would also benefit from having a confident canine companion who can guide me. If you take me for car rides, I do tend to get an upset tummy, so you'll probably have to keep some paper towels handy! If you are interested, please submit an online application at adoptagsd.org.
