Hi, my name is Bambi and I'm a beautiful 7 month old GSD who was transferred from a shelter where I was surrendered because my former owner said I jumped their fence. Then he said he didn't feel like adding to it to keep me safe, and he was moving, so he signed the papers to leave me behind. I'm currently living in a foster home with another GSD and I'm doing great! I'm house trained, crate trained and my foster mom says I have a really affectionate personality. She takes us for wonderful hikes and when we get home, it's nap time! I was underweight when I arrived, and she's been helping me to put on a few pounds. I am hoping to be paired with an adopter who will commit to continuing with my obedience training since I'm still a puppy. I'd also love it if my adopter is an outdoorsy person who enjoys hiking and other adventures. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application.
