When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Hi, my name is Jessie and I'm a beautiful two year old GSD who was surrendered to FRGSR after my former family fell on some hard times. My dad passed away and my mom suffered a significant injury that left her unable to properly care for me. My mom said that I'm a very devoted, sweet and protective dog. She took me to training with a very competent trainer, but she said she felt her nervousness was spilling down the leash to me which caused me to be reactive towards other larger dogs on leash. She also said that she had some visitors with smaller dogs who came to the house and I did great with both the dogs and people. I'm now living in a foster home where I'm getting settled, but I've made myself at home taking naps on the couch, etc and I love chasing the ball in the back yard.
