Hi, my name is Jerzy Joe, and I'm a handsome 13 month old GSD/Malinois mix, who was transferred from a shelter where I was surrendered twice. The first time, my owner developed a medical condition that rendered him unable to care for me. The second time, I was surrendered because I was too much dog for the other dog in the house. You see, I'm a big puppy who plays roughly with other dogs and sometimes they get annoyed with me. I'm currently living in a foster home that I share with two other GSDs and they are helping me to understand their "language" of when it's time to take a break from the rough-housing. I'm house trained, I know some basic commands, I enjoy toys and I ride well in the car. I like chewing on blankets or other soft fabrics, so I need to be supervised closely. I'm  looking for an adopter who has experience with dogs who can be pushy and who will meet my exercise needs (a simple neighborhood walk won't be enough). I will also need someone to be my leader and who'll  continue with my training so that I'll grow up to be a well balanced adult dog. I would love to go for long hikes or other outdoor adventures. I can be like a bull in a china shop, so I home without small children would be best. My adoption fee is $350 and if you are interested, please submit an online application at adoptagsd.org.
