Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Goose is a cuddly, and spunky, eight-week old shepherd mix puppy. He is a typical happy puppy full of butt wiggles and a wagging tail. He is currently in foster care with his brother Hollywood (AKA Woody). Goose loves his four foster brothers and sister, ranging in age from 3 years to 11 years, and weight from 45 to 90 pounds. He loves to chase after them when they’re playing and bark at them. He’s learning how to jump in to play, but often takes one leap and then changes his mind and runs away. Those are some big dogs!

Goose is pretty confident and isn’t really scared of anything. He isn’t particularly fond of the rain, but does seem to enjoy the snow. He shares food with his brother and they cuddle together to sleep. Goose also likes to cuddle with the big dogs and may occasionally be found slowing scooting his way closer to touch them.

He is learning crate training and settles down after a few minutes. Housetraining is going well, if his foster mom is super quick and pays attention all the time. A quiet puppy who is not sleeping is trouble. Goose loves stuffed animals and will “attack” them.
