Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Hollywood (called Woody in his foster home) is a confident and adorable eight-week old shepherd mix puppy. He is a typical happy puppy full of butt wiggles and a wagging tail. He is currently in foster care with his brother Goose. Those two love to play together and between the two of them, Woody is definitely the instigator. Woody loves his four foster brothers and sister, ranging in age from 3 years to 11 years, and weight from 45 to 90 pounds. He’s quicker to chase them around the yard and jump in to play.

Woody isn’t really scared of anything and just like his brother, not a huge fan of the rain, but the snow is just amazing! Racing around the yard in the white stuff is super fun! He shares food with his brother and you’ll find his sleeping more on his own, rather than finding a dog to cuddle with. Woody does love to fall asleep on his people though.

He is learning crate training and settles down after a few minutes. Housetraining is going well, if his foster mom is super quick and pays attention all the time. A quiet puppy who is not sleeping is trouble. Woody loves stuffed animals and likes to take them away to a dog bed and then “attacks” them.

If you’re looking for a charming freckled face little puppy, then Woody might be the guy for you!
