Hi, my name is Cooper, and I'm a handsome, two year old GSD who was recently transferred to FRGSR in hopes that I will find a better life ahead. Animal Control found me in a deplorable setting where I lived on a chain that was so short, I could barely move and I had no food or water. I am an INCREDIBLY NICE dog in spite of my past. Since I've lived outside, I will need a patient person who can work with me on house training. The volunteers with FRGSR are teaching me how to play ball and I'm having a blast! I have a gentle demeanor and I'm enjoying all the attention I'm receiving. The volunteers have noticed that I've been well behaved and curious about dogs on the other side of the fence (gentle sniffing, but no barking or lunging). FRGSR wants me to find a home where I can live indoors while enjoying outdoor adventures such as hiking, possibly camping and other adventures with my human(s). More info to come.
