Hi, my name is Baloo Bear or Bear for short, and I'm a handsome one year old GSD who was transferred to FRGSR from a shelter where I was surrendered by my former owner who kept me outside in an unheated chicken coop where coyotes were often lurking around. Since I lived outside, I will need to learn basic house manners. The rescue has been spending time supervising my play sessions with other dogs, and I'm learning how to read other dogs' signals.  For example, I'm learning that other dogs don't like it when I get right up in their faces. No info on cats. Until now, my life experiences have been extremely limited, so I'm learning all kinds of new things, and I want to do what's right, but I need someone to patiently teach me. I will need an adopter who will be willing to work with me as I learn how to be an indoor pet and continue to help me with my socialization skills with both people and other dogs. Lastly, I am capable of jumping a 5' fence, so I will need to be supervised when outside. My adoption fee is $350.
