Hi, my name is Hagen and I'm a super handsome 2 year old, long haired GSD who was transferred from a shelter where I arrived after being pulled from my former home by Animal Control for unknown reasons. I'm a happy, friendly boy who gets along well with people and other dogs. Shelter reports state that I did well with cats, but some FRGSR volunteers have noticed that I'm a little overzealous in the cat department, so potential adopters need to keep this in mind. Also, I have some anxiety and I get stressed when my human leaves the room. My foster mom is working with me on this. Also, I don't care for being in a crate (I'm barky), but if I'm left uncrated when my human leaves, I tend to "redecorate" things to the point where the room resembles that of someone who hasn't picked up in the last month. As a result, I will likely be too noisy in an apartment or condo setting. Ideally, I may do best with someone who works from home or isn't gone for long periods of time. My hope is to find an adopter who has a playful canine who needs a buddy, because I LOVE to play! Update: I am going willingly into a crate if my mom throws treats in first, then I'll cry for a bit and eventually I'll quiet down. My GSD foster buddy and I love to wrestle in the yard and snow and while inside, I love to chew on rubber toys or carry one of my mom's shoes around the house. I love to go for car rides and meet new people and dogs. I also love to go for nice, long hikes! My adoption fee is $350.
