Hi, my name is Chong and I'm an adorable 1yr old Malinois who came from an overcrowded setting where I wasn't receiving the care or attention I deserved. I am living in a foster home that I share with other dogs, a cat and some ferrets, and my foster mom says that I'm doing well with the dogs, but not the other critters. I'm working on my house training and I'm learning how to use the dog door. I'm most comfortable with other dogs and women but I'm still pretty afraid of men. Once I SLOWLY earn your trust, I love to cuddle next to you. I'm crate trained and I'm working on learning some basic obedience, but I still act very much like a puppy. I really love toys too! I do have some significant fear issues that make my personality unlike most Malinois.  As a result, I will need an adopter (without young kids) who will be patient with me and provide me with confident leadership so that hopefully my confidence will build over time. Update: I am now housetrained and I readily use the dog door. I've learned to respect the kitty. I will sit on command. I still get car sick if my tummy is full. My confidence is growing because my foster mom has great leadership skills and she doesn't baby me. My adoption fee is $350.
