Hi, my name is Frieda and I'm a beautiful, one year old GSD who was transferred from a shelter where my time was about to expire. I've been friendly with people and I'm learning how to read other dogs' signals during play sessions and vice versa. Sometimes I get up in their faces because I'm excited and sometimes a bit pushy, but not  aggressive. I will need an adopter who will continue to work on my obedience, socialization and manners. As you can see from my pictures, I love toys and I'm a little goofy in front of the camera. The folks at FRGSR will post more about me as I settle in. My adoption fee is $350. Update: I've settled in at a foster home that I share with three other dogs and I'm doing fine with all of them. I'm house trained, crate trained, I love to play with toys, and I enjoy being groomed. My foster mom takes my foster GSD brother and I for nice, long daily walks and I am great on leash. She has noticed that I ignore other dogs who bark at us from their yards and I don't care much about deer who stop and stare at us in the road.... go figure...  I still need work with intros to other dogs, but once I get past a barky beginning, I'm fine. I love to roll in the snow and play chase with my GSD brother, so having a companion would likely be fun for me. I will need a handler who will continue to work with me on my introductions with other dogs and provide me with lots of adventures. I'm a good girl who's affectionate and I'd love to find my forever home! I will need a home without cats.
