Hi, my name is Larry and I'm a 2yr old German Shepherd mix who was chained outside day and night for most of my young life. I was saved by a dog lover who convinced my former owners to let her take me. She brought me hundreds of miles to her home, got me cleaned up, vetted and introduced me to the other members of her household. She then turned to FRGSR to help me find my forever home. I have enjoyed my board and train experience, because the trainer showed me leadership and boundaries which was new for me. However, the trainer warned that I can be like a headstrong, sneaky teen, and I'll test the boundaries and do as much as an adopter will let me get away with. As a result, I need an adopter who will provide me with continued leadership, consistency and daily exercise. Please note that I have been known to chase chickens and cats.  Update: I've been waiting for some time for my forever family to come along with no luck. I know most people want a GSD with erect ears, and if I could make mine stand up, I would if it led to me finding my forever home. My foster mom thinks my floppy ears are adorable! I'm doing great with the other dogs in foster placement and I'm house trained, crate trained, and I've learned how to use a dog door.  I'm an awesome dog who would LOVE to find my forever family! If you met me, I will treat you as though we've been friends for years! My adoption fee is $350.
