Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Jumpin' Jack Flash was found as a stray and surrendered to a shelter before being transferred to FRGSR. He's two years old and the shelter reported that he's a mellow boy. His foster mom has said that he's unsure with new experiences, but he's making great progress. He does NOT like loud noises (fireworks, thunder and the evil vacuum cleaner). He is housebroken and likes being in a crate with the door open. If you close the door on the crate, don't assume, he'll be in there when you get back. You will likely find him in your bedroom closet after he's moved your shoes out of the way. He's learning how to socialize and play with other dogs. He will initially try to dominate another dog but will back down if the dog resists or his foster mom says a firm NO. JJ, like most rescue dogs, is a work in progress, but he is eager to learn and will respect a handler who demonstrates leadership. JJ is being treated for Heartworm and will need a adoptive home who will follow thru with his treatment.  Adoption fee $300
