Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

LaBelle is a 4 year old dog that finds herself in need of a new home because her owner, who has had her since a baby, is now unable to give her the exercise and time she needs. She has had some basic obedience, but will need a refresher. Previous owner says she is great with other dogs but has never been around cats. She can GO OVER A 4 FT FENCE. In her foster home, LaBelle has been a happy exuberant girl who loves to fetch and play tug. She can be a little intense with her ball chasing, so we recommend no young kids. When play time is over, she is happy to rest with her foster family, but she is always ready to play again at a moments notice. Foster home has 6 ft wood fence, which she has shown no interest in going over. Foster home has cats, and altho LaBelle is interested in them, and will chase them when they run, she can be in the same room with a cat sitting with the foster, so with time and a little effort, she would probably be ok with a cat. She does bark at the door bell, and friends invited in the house, but has shown no overt aggression.
