When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Daizy is a gorgeous one year old red sable GSD who was transferred to FRGSR after being surrendered to a shelter because she and her canine sibling kept escaping the yard. The owner reported that Daizy is house trained, crate trained and knows her basic commands. She does have a high prey drive for both rabbits and squirrels, so caution must be used while walking her. She has demonstrated some fear issues with strangers, so she will need a patient adopter who will allow her the time she needs to relax and come out of her shell on her timeline. However, once you earn her trust, she is a playful cuddle bug. She will alert her humans with a hearty GSD bark when visitors arrive but will settle down if treats are handy. Daizy can easily go over a 5 ft fence, so a home with a six ft fence is preferred. She is much more relaxed with canine companions than not, so we hope to find a home where she'll have a furry friend. Adoption fee $350
