Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Sage is a very handsome one year old GSD who was surrendered to a shelter by a person who had him for just two days and gave up because Sage chased his cats. Prior to that, his history is unknown, but it appears that he may have missed out on having the proper leadership that a GSD needs, so we have placed him in a board and train program. His trainer reports that Sage is a headstrong dog who will need a handler who has had experience with strong-willed GSDs. We'll post more as we get to know him. Sage is living in a foster home now, and his foster reports that he gets along with the other dogs in the home. He does not always want to do what is expected of him, so a home without kids, and with firm but loving adutls is best. Sage needs lots of mental and physical exercise. Sage's adoption fee is $400
