Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Zelda is about 2 1/2 yrs old.  Her foster, says:

Zelda has been very friendly with all people, including children. She does not seem to like cats and gets agitated around both them and other dogs. However, this may be due to the fact that she wants to meet and play with every dog she sees. She does respond to the command "settle" when she starts to demonstrate this behavior around other dogs. She likes attention and would benefit from an adopter who can provide the attention she seeks. She does get into things and needs to be supervised. She is a very smart dog who will need an adopter who will present themselves as the leader to gain her trust and respect. Although she seems to want the companionship of other dogs, she may do best as an only dog due to her desire to dominate other dogs.
