Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.

When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.

Hi, my name is Venus Nova, and I'm a beautiful female GSD with an estimated DOB of 7/3/23 who was transferred from a shelter where I arrived as a stray and nobody came to claim me. The volunteers have described me as submissive with people when I first meet them, and it takes me a bit to warm up. I've done great with both large and small dogs, so having a home with another dog might help offer me comfort. I'm house trained, crate trained and I have good leash manners. I do like to perform a squeakectomy on stuffed toys, and I may chew on non-doggy items, so potential owners will need to work with me on this. Given my young age, I will need an adopter who will continue with my training and socialization with people so that I'll grow up to be a well-balanced adult dog.
